About Dr. Rekha Srivastava
Dr. Rekha Srivastava is a highly accomplished obstetrician and gynecologist with an illustrious career in women’s healthcare. A gold medalist, she earned her MBBS from Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj, in 1973, followed by an MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1978. She further obtained her FICMCH in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the DAWN School of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
With deep expertise in high-risk obstetrics and infertility treatment, Dr. Srivastava has mentored and taught numerous students, guiding CS-DAWN Diploma OBGYN candidates for several years. She remains actively engaged in medical advancements, regularly attending national and international conferences and CMEs in her field.
She married Dr. K.P. Srivastava in 1975 and supported his transition from medicine to politics. He served as Mayor of Allahabad and currently holds the position of MLC from Allahabad-Kaushambi. He dedicates his efforts to social work and aiding underprivileged communities.
Their only son, Dr. Ketan Srivastava, is a doctor with an MBA in Hospital Administration from BITS Pilani-CMC Vellore. Recently married to Dr. Vartika Srivastava (MS, MRCOG, FMAS & DNB, Obs & Gynae), both now assist Dr. Rekha Srivastava at J.P. Memorial Hospital, continuing her legacy of excellence in patient care.
